Restored Connections Family Therapy provides care for individuals, couples, and families of all ages, stages, and abilities and clinical supervision and training to pre-licensed Marriage & Family Therapists. We meet our clients in an atmosphere of unconditional positive regard where issues of informed consent are addressed and where therapists consciously attempt to understand each client’s unique challenges to mutually establish goals for treatment. We provide compassionate, nonjudgemental care to the whole person addressing bio-psycho-social-spiritual needs that honor the unique perspectives, diversities, cultures, life and developmental stages and abilities of each client. We respect and welcome all clients and will work with you to seek understandings to offer the compassionate care and support you. Dr. Toni Durnal Dunning, LMFTToni works effectively with individuals, couples, and families at all phases of life. Toni’s therapeutic approach is uniquely tailored for each client and typically involves family-systems, psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, emotionally-focused, existential, play therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR) and/or other therapies as clinically appropriate. Toni considers each client’s history and needs and looks for opportunities to build a solid therapeutic relationship in an atmosphere of respect, empathy, and compassion.
Ms. Kathleen Shanahan, AMFTKathleen has invested her life in caring for and serving individuals of all ages and from diverse populations. Her undergraduate course work included child development and human services with an emphasis in counseling. After working in a program that provided services to children with disabilities, Kathleen moved forward and co-founded an early intervention center where she hired, lead, and worked within a multidisciplinary team that provided pediatric therapy services children with developmental delays and disabilities.
