Kathleen Shanahan is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist who is passionate about helping people navigate problems and struggles with life circumstances. She enjoys walking alongside people healing from hurt offering compassionate care that can produce connection and joy in relationships. As a therapist she works with individuals of all ages and stages as well as families who have experienced trauma, loss, and grief recovery giving attention to the needs for connection, belonging, and community.
In college, Kathleen studied human services with an emphasis in counseling and child development and then went on to earn her Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Hope International University. Beyond graduate school, Kathleen has developed skills in evidence-based models that allow her to provide high quality care that is demonstrated to be effective. A brilliant and creative professional who upholds high ethical standards, she enjoys helping people find practical solutions to problems.
