Brittany Taylor is an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor who is especially passionate about supporting adolescents as they encounter myriad issues in the transitions from elementary to junior high and on to high school. Her desire is to help equip adolescents, young adults, and adults with skills that will lead to healthy, promising, and connected relationships that last a lifetime. She understands and respects that each person is unique and special—possessing strengths, understandings and skills that she draws upon to create connection and hope in an atmosphere that is safe and free from judgment. She enjoys educating, challenging, and empowering her clients — adolescent and adult — and walks alongside her clients in their journey whether dealing with traumatic history, grief and loss, struggling with substance abuse or feeling the effects of anxiety or depression. As a committed Christian, Brittany is a respectful of all faiths and non-faith perspectives, yet she capably integrates Christian spirituality into treatment when requested by the client.
Brittany completed her Master of Arts Degree in Professional Counseling at Liberty University and graduated in 2014. Her supervised practicum and internship experiences involved work with children, teens and parents using play, positive behavior support, and cognitive behavioral therapy. She completed her undergraduate degree in theology at Cedarville University and has ministry experience developing student leaders offering care counseling, coaching, and feedback using her own leadership skills. As an Associate, Brittany Nicole Taylor, MA, #APCC3219 brings vitality, excitement, compassion, connection, and care to our team and works under the supervision of Dr. Toni Durnal Dunning, DMFT, LMFT #MFC51248.
